CIFF 40: Day 1 Recap & Red Carpet Looks
The 40th Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) was launched Yesterday, Tuesday 20th November 2018, which will be held until November 29th. At the opening ceremony of the festival, a great selection of Arab and world celebrities, journalists, artists and celebrities took part, some of whom appeared in a nice look, and others appeared in a way that left us shocked.
The first day of the festival witnessed many notable situations; a different appearance by Ahmed Al Fishawi accompanied by his wife Nada, who made a buzz at the festival, same as what happened at GFF, Fishway was keen to show signs of love to his wife in front of the cameras. It doesn’t end here, the opening ceremony also witnessed the emergence of the latest “couple”, Ahmed Fahmy and Hana El Zahid after they recently announced their engagement, confirming their relationship. And Because the tears can not be seen except with sincere feelings, the iconic Yousra and Raja’ Al-Jeddawi cried, while Samir Sabri received an honorable prize from the festival’s management for his artistic career, which was repeated with the receipt of the star Hassan Hosni for the prize of “Faten Hamama” for his long career.
The opening ceremony witnessed a funny incident when the star Sherif Mounir kept calling Maged ElKedwany by Maged ElMasry. The repreated error forced M. ElKedwany to laugh about it on stage and ask S. Mounir whether he’s working with M. ElMasry, leaving the crowd in laughter.
