TOP 10 SERIES THAT ARE ALWAYS ON REPEAT
Watching series online has been an execution for some people in the world, but there are series that have grown with us throughout the years. Shows that remind us of memories that happened in one time or another, and until today, we still can’t get enough of them!
I guess you could say, they’ve got us hooked.
To list the top 10 series that have and will always stay with us are;
1. F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994)
Three young men and three young women – of the BFF kind – live in the same apartment complex. They all live through the same ‘normal’ life events, love, life and breakups to say the least.
2. HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (2005)
It all started with Ted & Marshall’s best friend-ventures! Suddenly, Barney, a friend with endless — often outrageous — opinions, helps Ted find the love of his life. When Ted meets Robin, he is sure it’s love at first sight, but the affair fizzles into friendship. The voice-over is by Bob Saget. Stay alert, this series has tons of flashbacks!
3. TWO & A HALF MEN (2003)
Chiropractor and single father Alan Harper gets a divorce and moves in with his older brother. Alan also has a son. Living all under one roof, something is about to happen with these three ‘men’. Women, girls, ex-wives, all the drama you need to keep entertained.
4. THE BIG BANG THEORY (2007)
Best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, know a little too much about science, but they’re not too savvy with ‘women’. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. How will their two worlds collide while Penny lives next door and so it begins.
5. THE OFFICE (2005)
This US adaptation, set at a paper company in Scranton, Pa. Features many characteristics that you might find in your own office. There’s Jim, the likable employee who’s a bit of a ‘typical’ man. Jim has a thing for receptionist-turned-sales rep Pam (because office romances are always a good idea). There’s also Dwight, the successful co-worker who lacks social skills and common sense. And there’s Ryan, who has held many jobs at the company.
6. THE SIMPSONS (1989)
One of the all time favorites of all generations until this day! The Simpsons is a an animated comedy that focuses on the most sarcastic family in the town of ‘Springfield’ located somewhere in the US. The head of the Simpson family, Homer,is not the typical husband/father but he tries his best to lead but at the end, the family leads him! The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaker son Bart, over achiever-like daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. So many characters to name, so little time, but I bet you already knew that!
7. BREAKING BAD (2008)
A high school chemistry teacher named Walter White thinks his life can’t get any worse. His salary is horrible, his wife is about to give birth, and their teenage son is battling cerebral palsy. But Walter has a secret, he has terminal cancer. Realizing that his illness will ruin his family financially, Walter makes a desperate bid to earn as much money as he can in a short time by turning an old RV into a meth lab on wheels. Well, that could be a solution?
8. SEINFELD (1989)
A story of four single friends — comedian Jerry Seinfeld, bungling George Costanza, frustrated working gal Elaine Benes and the neighbor that never makes sense Cosmo Kramer — deal with the everyday life of living in New York City.
9. GOSSIP GIRL (2007)
A couple of high school over privileged prep school students that happen to live on Manhattan’s Upper East Side have a story to tell. But not alone of course, GOSSIP GIRL is the narrator of this story. She catches them at their best and worst and shares it with the world on her blog. A must watch if you’re into these dramas, xoxo Gossip Girl.
10. 90210 (2008)
“Beverly Hills, 90210” ‘s remake. A face lift to say the least. It’s a drama-filled show about a tight-knit circle of friends from West Beverly — a glamorous world of luxury. All based in high school and takes us on a roller coaster of what it takes to become one of ‘them’.
These shows, to say the least, aren’t the only ones that we have invested our years living on, but these are just our top favorites.
The ones that were there for us, through those ‘special times’.
