Egypt to -hopefully- host the 2019 CAF
We always hope for small events that make us believe that we’re moving one step ahead with our country, and just recently we were blessed by this happy declaration.
In a joyous turn of events, Egypt has applied to the African Football Confederation to officially host the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
We sent an official letter to the African Football Confederation (CAF) to request the 2019 African Nations Cup, this does not mean we have won the tournament officially, but we will wait for the official announcement of the African Football Confederation. ~ Magdy Abdel Ghani Member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Federation.
With 24 teams participating in the 2019 African Cup of Nations, we sure hope that Egypt wins both the hosting process and the cup. Sports events such as this huge one will surely reflect on both the economic and touristic status of our country.
