This might seem to you, yes you the one who’s reading this, like it’s an introduction about just another camp opening up in Nueiba, nothing new to witness, might as well save your time, right?! Well, NO!
Droub Camp in Nueiba soon will open up to all types of travelers, especially the ones who want to discover the desert’s secrets through the simplest ways, walking through the trails between mountains, trekking up the hills and experiencing how can one survive the desert without the modern day gadgets. Is this bringing back some scouts’ memories, well it should! They truly know it all!
Droub camp Nueiba takes its name from plural of the Arabic word “Darb”. Which means trail, the camp is built upon the discovery of all trails in Nueiba, Janub Sina’, Egypt, and every trail holds many secrets which shall unfold itself to you once you step a foot along its path. There’s so much to explore in the desert and if someone told you otherwise, then they haven’t looked hard enough. The wildlife, the canyons, the plants, the food, the people, the ways of survival, and that’s only above water, imagine what can you discover under the sea, under THE RED SEA!
Aside from all of that, true travelers know that traveling isn’t simply about discovering new places and going on a new journey but rather discovering the journey within one’s self. Droub Camp Nueiba isn’t just an escape from your hectic life but rather your chance to rediscover yourself with what they offer; with every season comes a theme and with every theme comes a set of workshops that will teach you and nurture your soul in so many ways.
The past months the crew behind this project have been building this project from the ground up and soon enough it will be up and running.
